In accountancy no two days are ever the same. It is a dynamic and extremely challenging career that
stretches abilities to the full. Our aim is to recruit and retain the best candidates available, individuals who will rise to the challenge and take the opportunities that our training and formal ACCA qualification will offer. We truly believe that candidates who are willing to apply themselves to the best of their ability can thrive in our firm, as so many previous such candidates have in the past.

Our ACCA platinum accredited training programme successfully provides the necessary structure to achieve full ACCA qualification. Obviously, we hope our successful trainees will decide to further their careers with us after qualification, but we also understand that, for some, their destiny may lay elsewhere.

Currently, some of our previous trainees are engaged in senior positions both in practice and commerce, including ‘big 4’ firms and at Financial Director level. We provide, along with the formal academic qualification, a detailed insight into the major areas of accountancy. Trainees will spend time understanding the basic principles behind accounts preparation, developing knowledge of UK tax legislation and working on audit cases.

As our trainees’ careers progress and the necessary competences are gained, they will assist both the client managers and partners on a range of projects. These range from business disposals and acquisitions to the development of business plans and financial forecasts which can be used by business clients as expansion tools or for raising finance for new business opportunities.

We offer competitive salaries and training packages that are sufficiently flexible to adapt to most trainees’ individual needs. A brochure detailing the opportunities to train with Edwards, Pearson & White can be emailed to interested candidates simply by completing the details on the contact page.
